Turkey Tag

We had such a good time at Tuesday Night Stamping Group this week!! I didn't come up with a project until 3 p.m., so it had to be super simple. I was inspired by some ideas I found on-line and we made a turkey tag since I needed a tag for some peanut butter fudge I made for Bailey's teacher and other school staff. Two birds, one stone!! And since everyone has already asked for it, I'm including the recipe for the buffalo chicken dip I brought. It's DE-LISH!!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

HOLLY'S BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP
2 c. shredded cooked chicken
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. Ranch dressing (I used spicy)
1/4 - 1/2 c. wing sauce
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened

Combine chicken, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and wing sauce, and mix well; spread softened cream cheese on the bottom of a 1-quart baking dish; pour chicken mixture over cream cheese and top with remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese; bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with bagel chips.

Happy Fall, Y'all!!

At the recent SU! Regional in Chattanooga, I won the Autumn Splendor stamp set and, while I was THRILLED to win a prize, I wasn't sure how much I'd actually use the set. But I found this beautiful card on the SU! website and reconsidered! I made this card for a friend in South Dakota who probably doesn't say "y'all!!" I really love this color combo! It's fun to see the nontraditional Bermuda Breeze mixed in with the Earth Elements. Thanks for stopping by this evening!!

More Berry Christmas

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card!! I posted the one I made at the SU! Regional in Chattanooga a week or so ago, but this one is SO MUCH PRETTIER because I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the poinsettia blossoms! The result is so much more professional, but still very easy to accomplish. Can't wait to make more of these!

Berry Merry Christmas Card

I am so loving the stamp set, Berry Christmas!! I found this beautiful card on Splitcoast Stampers and couldn't wait to CASE it!! We made it at my stamping group on Tuesday night. The card is so striking and I am developing a newfound respect for my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig! I ordered the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder because of this card, but it won't arrive until later in the week. The focal point card stock pieces are 3" x 3" (vanilla) and 3.25" x 3.25" (olive).

Snowball Cake

OMGosh!! I just got the new Kraft Food & Family Magazine and saw the picture of and recipe for Snowball Cake, a luscious delicacy that I made Tuesday night for my stamping group - they LOVED it!! It is such a beautiful cake and surprisingly easy to make. I baked mine in my Pampered Chef batter bowl, but I will use a wider bowl the next time I make it. The filling is made of cream cheese, confectioners sugar, and an egg, and the frosting is vanilla pudding and Cool Whip - YUM!! I didn't cover the cake in coconut for those who don't like it, but I will next time - wouldn't pink coconut be adorable for Easter? What about green for a golf-themed party? Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Happy Halloween!!

Well, better late than never, I guess!! And with Daylight Savings Time, it's still officially Halloween. My friend, Cele, gave me these great Halloween stamps and I used them to create a card that was inspired by a card she made me last year. I LOVE the fuzzy yarn tied to the top and I loved pulling out the ol' Print Patter BG that I haven't used in awhile. It's so freeing to spritz color on a project haphazardly and apply ink directly to the paper randomly!! Hope you all didn't have the rain that we did and that you had lots of sweet, little trick-or-treaters. Thanks for stopping by!
