June 2017 PTI Blog Hop

I made this card today based on one I saw on Pinterest and I think it's overdone, but I just kept adding elements that I hoped would improve it. Sadly, it didn't happen! Anyway, for this month's PTI Blog Hop, I used their Friendship Jar and Daydreamer stamp sets along with SU!'s En Francais background stamp. I really like how the jar and water turned out - I used Tim Holtz's Peacock Feathers, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass distress inks. I used Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy for the flowers - I just love these two colors together, especially on two-step stamping flowers. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Make it Monday #288: Pantone Chip Inspired Cards

This week's Make it Monday Challenge is a neat one! I follow Pantone on Instagram so I'm familiar with their color cards. I went for the easy ideas this week. The bunny card with Hawaiian Shores cardstock didn't really come together as well as I wanted it to (plus I flattened my sequins when I used the scallop die on my white panel), but I love my sunflower card with SU! Daffodil Delight. I spritzed a bit of DD ink on the white cardstock for a little bit more color. Easy peasy! Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!

Create Along with Us: June 2017

I can't believe it's been more than a month since I've blogged! I've been making cards here and there but just haven't been putting them HERE. When I saw the challenge to create a card based on this month's release inspiration, I immediately knew which card I wanted to use for my inspiration!! This amazing card by Nichole Heady uses this month's new release, Quoted: True Friends, and I think this is going to be a set I buy every month along with Month of Psalms! For my card, I used last month's new release, Quoted: Dream Big, formatted similarly to Nichole's card. I used Hawaiian Shores, Orange Zest, & New Leaf inks and cardstock along with SU! Bermuda Bay on Whisper White cardstock. I used the Noted Scalloped A2 Vertical Die to cut the focal point panel, which I attached to my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
