colourQ challenge #282

This week's colourQ challenge was challenging for me, although I did have the colors for once. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Altenew Painted Flowers stamp set, so I went straight to it for this challenge. I was halfway through my card when I realized I couldn't use green for the leaves! Gah! So, since I knew I had to use newsprint, I decided to use it on the leaves. I felt pretty smart! And I lucked out with coordinating sequins, too! In addition to Painted Flowers, I used PTI's Wet Paint for the sentiment. It's an amazingly versatile stamp set! I love finding stamp sets that are so fantastic that they don't need a lot of embellishments or techniques to SHINE! Thanks for stopping by today! It's 70 degrees here in E. TN today and tomorrow the low is 18, so woo hoo!! If it snows again, I may have some more crafting time!
