colourQ challenge #318
This week's colourQ challenge colors are perfect for autumn. It's still pretty warm here in East Tennessee, but we have been blessed with some beautiful fall color - the trees have been gorgeous shades of brown, yellow, orange, red, and my 5-year-old's favorite, burgundy! I used PTI's new stamp set, Phrases & Praises, which I already know I'll be using a lot. I just love large script sentiments! I smooshed kraft, honey, and rust inks onto an acrylic block, spritzed the block with water, and then gently placed the block on a piece of white cardstock. It took several tries to get something I liked but keep trying if you do this technique. I stamped the Scripture in espresso and die cut leaves in the other three colors to frame the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!
Angela, this is a wonderful card for the Thanksgiving season! Always loved this Psalm and you displayed it perfectly with the CQC colors! Thank you for playing along!
I am a stay-at-home mom, Starbucks lover, and paper fanatic! I have been married to my sweet husband for almost 22 years (YIKES!) and we have two beautiful daughters: 16-year-old Bailey (who's driving!!) and 6-year-old Morgan (who's in kindergarten!). My life is richly blessed!
