Up from the grave He arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Happy Easter!
Stamping projects with a little cooking thrown in for good measure!
I gotta say that I am REALLY getting into these blog challenges!! This week's colourQ challenge was a little tricky, though. I have all the colors except Wisteria Wonder and none of my stamping buddies could suggest a suitable alternate, so I used Almost Amethyst and I hope the "powers that be" approve. The inspiration for this card is one I found by Nichole Heady and used PTI's 2013 anniversary set. I substituted a set by Inkadinkado called Flowers that I found at Marshall's today for $1.49! I LOVE how masking gives a crisp, clean spot for my sentiment, which is by PTI. I used two Post-it notes because the adhesive is strong enough to stay put while I stamp but light enough so as not to leave a residue on my card. Thanks for stopping by on this Good Friday! I am praying that you have a blessed Easter Sunday!
This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to make a project using NO STAMPS!! NO STAMPS?!?! Can you imagine?! Actually, it was easier than I thought since I have a fantastic new selection of Washi tape that I bought from Pick Your Plum for an incredibly, ridiculously low price!! (Thanks, Annie B. - you enabler!!) So, this is a recreation of a card I've done before with the addition of some AWESOME new Thickers, called Eclaire, in Cucumber, and VOILA! A lovely little card sans stamps! Who knew it could be done? Thanks for stopping by.

I realize my love of PTI's new Watercolor Wonder stamp set is bordering on obsession, but I had to use it for this one last little blog challenge!! I just discovered a beautiful blog called Damask Love and the challenge this week was to pick one of the color schemes posted on their blog and share with the blogging world who my "blog crush" is!! Well, I'm going on record that it's Nichole Heady of Papertrey Ink!! Her stamps and paper creations are some of the most amazing I have ever seen and I am inspired every single month by her creativity & her unique approach to papercrafting. So there you go - sharin' a little love this month!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
This week's theme is background stamping and I used my new favorite Watercolor Wonder stamp set by PTI for another fun and easy card. This week's winner gets a $25 gift certificate to spend at Ellen Hutson - isn't that COOL?! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!
