I made this card for a dear, sweet friend of mine whose husband passed away unexpectedly six years ago next week. She always deserves an extra special card because she is an extraordinary person.
I had seen the score lines technique recently and wanted to try it, but I didn't take the plunge until this week's Make it Monday challenge. It is such a simple, creative way to add pizzazz to a card. My score lines are hard to see but I promise they're there. And I don't mean to toot my own horn but I really love this card! The sunflowers, while not naturally accurate, turned out beautifully. The colors I used are SU! Daffodil Delight & Early Espresso, and PTI Berry Sorbet. I used PTI's Painted Petals, Friends 'til the End, and Keep it Simple: Praying for You. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Angela, this is so pretty! Love the scoring lines and those blooms!
I love how you used texture of dots on the bottom and score lines on the top of the card. It's really nice with your gorgeous flowers! Beautiful card.
Just a gorgeous card, Angela!
